Your Epson printer may also be capable of scanning documents and photos if it is a multifunctional (all-in-one) printer. Their printer comes equipped with high-end scanning capabilities far beyond an average scanner machine. However, your device may have several different usage modes and editing functions in order to enable this feature.
These particular scanning abilities usually require minimal basic abilities. No matter you run Windows 7, 8 or XP on your computer, you will be able to scan within a few minutes. If this sounds familiar, you have found the right blog! As Epson Support will cover everything you need to do the scanning.
Connect the power supply cable to your printer (if you haven’t already) and turn it on.
Now, place the original document you want to scan. Make sure to place it on document scan-feeder.
Open the Epson Scan-Print application your computer. If you’ve got another application, open it by double-clicking on its icon. (The application is a print module that the manufacturer provides you with the installation CD.)
After you do this, click the drop-down menu (right below at the Mode settings) to select what type of document you want to conduct.
Select a scanning mode based on the three options available for the scanner. If in doubt, contact Epson Technical Support.
Click the radio button to continue further; choose a colour mode you want. Those three options are Grayscale, Black and White, and Colour.
Select an action to indicate the document is properly placed in the document feeder for scanning.
As you select this, this will direct to the document.
Here, again choose an option from the drop-down menu or directly select Scanning Resolutions settings to choose the best-fit option for your document.
At last click Scan at the bottom of the scan settings to send the action to the Epson printer.
